What an incredible Western States race this year with our co worker and athlete Vincent Bouillard breaking the course record by almost 25 minutes, previously held by our other HOKA athlete Jim Walmsley. I had the honor of working with Vincent on a shoe that would help him win on the day. It’s essentially a lot of secret ingredients I can’t talk about yet but what I can promise you is that it’s a shoe unlike any in the industry so far. It’s not my story to tell just yet but what’s obvious is that it’s a hyper light, hyper responsive super plated trail shoe. There’s a lot of guessing on the internet as to what it is which is amusing but nobody has it right so far. Very excited for the world to learn about the ingredients in this thing, as we had very little time to pull it off. This shoe will also be worn by select athletes at UTMB this year and I’ll be there to cheer them on.
