Nike Air Zoom Orizaba XCR

Designed with Nike’s Balance Bar Adventure Racing team, this shoe needed to perform during 24hr adventure races. In and out of water, this shoe had drainage ports, non water absorbing materials, dual speed lacing system and integrated removeavable gator. Aggressive sticky rubber bottom with combination rockplate/shank with a tuning fork design handled rough terrain with ease. Padded forefoot protected athletes from stone bruising when running in shale slides. A lot of thought went in to this shoe and it earned a 2005 Gear Guide Award for best trail shoe.
