This shoe started off as just a fun water shoe, but ended up being way ahead of its time. Made mostly of recycled materials (which Nike didn’t talk about as it wasn’t in vogue)this shoe offers non water absorbing upper and midsole with self bailing channels. Stainless mesh windows in tooling prevent debris making it into shoe. This was originally designed for wake skaters but quickly turned into a popular casual / street shoe. We even made a step in slingback version to test but that never made it to production.
